Junior internship is a time where we get to pick jobs we want to try or are passionate about to enter the real world job by getting experience. This is a time to reach out to companies, get interviewed, and hopefully get the job we wanted. My first choice would have to Deaf Community Services because interns can get experience of what it's like to become an interpreter. I would love gain experience of the deaf community, and improve my skills in ASL. For my second choice I hope to intern for Women Studies, because it's about time women get equal rights. I was so interested in this for my 10th grade writing assignment, and what we pick we had to read articles about the topic we chose. I was originally going to read more about Free The Nipple, and write about how society views this based on research, but I backed out because I thought I could get in trouble. That's why I started out with something small and how people judge women's body types, and slowly progressed from there. I'm really passionate about reading articles about women not being treated equally, and just be educated about the world we live in. My third choice would be Autism Tree because I want to learn more about autism and how it has affect on people. Learning about autism and meeting families would help me get a better understanding of it.
san diego state university
This is an option to intern for my second choice for Women Studies.
Autism Tree helps you understand autism better when you meet families, and learn the types of autisms.
